New Features:

Ability to send Imagine emails via Outlook

Following user feedback, we are delighted to introduce a new capability that allows admins to choose whether emails are sent using Imagine infrastructure or via Outlook.

A new Email Sending settings page is now available under Activity Management for users with Administration (Edit) permissions. From this page, admins can configure per feature area (Single Send, Bulk Send, Talent Spotlight, and Workflows) whether emails are delivered via Imagine or Outlook. These settings are global and apply system-wide to all users.

If Outlook is selected, emails will be sent using the user's Outlook account and will appear in the sender’s Outlook Sent Items. Please note that bounce tracking, spam metrics, and other deliverability insights are not available when emails are sent via Outlook.

For workflows, admins can additionally configure the email delivery method per workflow, ensuring greater flexibility in how automated communications are handled.

By default, all feature areas will continue to send emails via Imagine infrastructure until an admin updates the configuration.

Action Required: Review the new Email Sending settings page and confirm you are happy with the configuration. Further information is available in this help guide.

Intelligent Boolean Searching

We’ve made it even easier to find specific people records with a limited filter set using our new intelligent boolean searching.

From the Search Anything bar, users can now switch between Search Anything and Boolean Searching. When in Boolean Searching mode, users can type a natural language query and our AI will extract keywords and automatically generate a boolean search. Users can manually refine the generated boolean search as needed.

Please see our help guide for further information.

Configure reporting metrics per persona

It is now possible to show or hide reporting metrics on a per-persona basis, allowing certain user groups to see reporting metrics while hiding them from others.

A new Reporting Metrics tab is now available when creating or editing a persona. From this tab, you can toggle the visibility of each metric for that persona.

As a reminder, personas apply to groups of users - so all users assigned to a persona will see the same configured reporting metrics.

When this feature goes live, all users will continue to see all reporting metrics until updated by an admin user.

Action Required: Please review the reporting metrics each persona can see.

To improve navigation across Imagine, we are introducing a quick search feature that allows users to find records without navigating to Records > Entity > Filters. A Quick Search bar is now available on every page and can search across People, Companies, Jobs, and Placements.

Quick Search currently supports Name (person/company name or job/placement title), Phone Numbers, and Email Addresses.

A keyboard shortcut is also available: Alt + / on Windows and Option + / on Mac.

Hierarchy visible in Reporting Teams Picker

When selecting a team from reporting pages, users will now see the hierarchy structure displayed automatically, making it easier to understand how teams are nested.

Ability to downstream actions to no branch when inserting decision action

Previously, when inserting a decision action (Reply Check, Meeting Check, Workflow Checker) midway through an existing workflow, all downstream actions were placed under the Yes branch by default.

We have now introduced a checkbox that allows users to choose whether all downstream actions should be placed under the Yes or No branch when adding a decision action.

Please note: this checkbox is only available when inserting between two existing actions.

See This Quarter/Next Quarter on Job Pipeline

Job Pipeline reporting now includes This Quarter and Next Quarter options in the header, making it easier to identify potential revenue expected within the current or upcoming quarter.

Further training for Search Anything

We have continued to improve the Search Anything feature, with the latest training ensuring that our AI recognises any dropdown value options that users have configured and correctly uses them during queries.

Updated Talent Spotlight selection

We have made a few small improvements and adjustments to the Talent Spotlight manager selection, specifically regarding job titles, to improve the accuracy and volume of selected recipients.

Bug Fixes:

Improvements to CV Parser

We have made technical improvements to the CV parser to address issues where existing people records were not always matched correctly, and where address formats did not align with the expected input values.

Clearer errors when adding trying to add pre-existing candidate

We now display a clearer and more helpful error message when a user attempts to add a candidate who is already in process for the job.

Employment History tenure calculation

Tenure calculations for work experience on person records are now consistently accurate. A bug has also been fixed where experience starting and ending in the same year did not calculate correctly.
